S&C's Fusia, Black & White 114 degree day!

This past Saturday we celebrated the marriage of S&C, two down to earth people who handled not only the stress of throwing an amazing wedding, but also the stress of record breaking heat on their wedding day very well!  It was hot to say the least, but all guests could feel for this couple was love and excitement.  Above is a photo I took of the room (fancy panorama!) before guests arrived.  It was beautiful, elegant, and the perfect way to celebrate such a loving couple.

Centerpieces made by family and
purchased in Lancaster, PA

The centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous, purchased in Lancaster, PA.  Each table featured either a candelabra or a smaller candle holder filled with flowers.  The bride's aunt put together the most touching slide show of photos set to a variety of country music love songs that was enjoyed by all.  The cake was a modern, delicious piece of art created, once again, by Paula's Place for Cakes.  DJ Dave Wood spun tunes that got the crowd up on the dance floor, while Catcher's catering satisfied every palate.

Princess Pink Wedding

Pink Cinderella Wedding
This past Saturday we had the pleasure of celebrating the wedding of T&L.  This couple could not have been any sweeter and I am so happy to have been able to participate in their special day!  You can learn a lot about a couple based on the type of wedding they have, and it was so clear to me just how T feels about L.  True love.  He let her have everything she wanted and I know that will continue on throughout their lives together.

My favorite part of this wedding was in the beginning after the introductions and the first dance.  L had prepared a touching speach to thank their grandparents for being such amazing role models in how to have a happy, loving, successful marriage.  (I cried!)  Their Christian values have clearly been passed on to their grandchildren and it is always amazing for me to witness things like this.  They followed the beautiful speach by inviting their grandparents onto the dance floor for a special dance.  This is the song they used for that...I dare you not to shed a tear thinking about your parents or sweet grandparents dancing to this!

As for the rest of the night: dinner, dancing and a delicious cake created the perfect Happily Ever After for this fairy tale evening.  This coming weekend we have a break, but don't worry, I'll be posting some random things in between :)

Quinceanero - A 15th Birthday Spectacular!

Fancy decor made took this event from fun to fab!
On Saturday night we celebrated the 15th birthday of V, a sweet young girl who's family is originally from Peru.  The tradition the the Quinceanero is similar to that of the "Sweet Sixteen" and then some.  They had the room decorated to the 9's in an Under the Sea theme.  Aqua and sea shells everywhere!  The stage featured an elaborate seating area for the birthday girl and her "court", a group of friends, girls and boys, dressed in coordinating formal attire like that of a wedding.  They had multiple choreographed dance routines and a shoe ceremony where the birthday girls father changed her shoes from her "little girl shoes" (Ugg moccasins) to a pair of "grown up shoes", silver strappy heals.

Fantastic cake by CCC's own BL!
Catchers Catering provided a traditional meal per the families request of Beef, Chicken and Veggie Enchiladas (which were delicious!) along with many other tasty choices.  Our very own BL created the cake which was not only beautiful but also extremely sweet tooth satisfying!!

This party was start to finish a creative and fun time.  They had a punch fountain that color coordinated with the entire theme of the event, Blue Hawaiian Punch and Sprite!  It smelled good, looked good and tasted great.

Me, Megan & Roni having a fun time at work!

Overall this was a fun and different event and I am so happy to have been a part of it.  I was able to bring 2 of my girlfriends who were visiting for the weekend and show them what my job is like and that is always fun.  Here's one last picture for the post, me with the girls here at the CCC celebrating V's quinceanero!

This weekend we will be back on the wedding front!  Stay tuned because it's going to be a big one!

Surprise 50th Birthday Party

We kicked off July 4th weekend with a Surprise 50th Birthday Party!!

Peacock Feathers and Candles adorn all of the tables to create a fabulous and
intimate feel for this Diva-licious party!

On Friday night we had a 50th birthday party - Fifty & Fabulous!  The guest of honor was shocked and her daughter was thrilled!  She has worked so hard to make the night totally amazing and it was.  Peacock feathers, high heels and plenty of bling!  Even a life-sized cardboard cutout of the birthday girl!

Custom printed M&M's with the words "Fifty & Fabulous" and
the guest of honors photo made delicious gifts for guests

This group was as kind and generous as could be and I was so happy to be a part of their excitement.  The guest of honor's daughter and son surprised her with the gift of a brand new car and she was beyond shocked and more thankful than I have ever seen.  It was truly a touching moment and it brought tears to my eyes.

Stay tuned because this wasn't our only event this past weekend.  Spoiler Alert:  Quinceanero!!
