A&J's Perfect Fall Day!

With scattered showers in the forecast it was a touch and go day for this bride and groom. They had planned an intimate beach ceremony in Lewes followed by dinner and dancing here at the CHEER Community Center. I knew it was meant to be for them because they were married on the brides parents AND grandparents anniversary. Sure enough, the rain stopped long enough for them to say "I Do"!

A&J are so loving and they truly deserved a perfect day. With their three young children acting as Maid of Honor, Best Man and Flower Girl, this was a family affair from beginning to end. I am so happy to have been a part of their day and I wish them a life full of love and happiness!

Here are some photos from their Fall Wedding! (Second day of Fall to be exact!!) Enjoy!

T&J's Berry & Blue Ceremony & Reception

We're back at it again!  This past weekend was AWESOME!  Amazing couple with an amazing group of people behind them to celebrate.  T&J have been together for 10 years, so this ceremony and reception was something guests and the couple came together to celebrate from start to finish.  (And boy did they celebrate!!)

I took more pictures from this one than I have in the past, but can you blame me?  They had one space set up for their ceremony and the other spaces became the reception area.  170+ guests helped to set the mood - love, laughter and fun were the theme on Saturday night!  Simple centerpieces, photos of the couple around the room and another delicious meal by Catchers helped contribute to the excitement of the evening.  A close friend of the couple doubled as the DJ and he had the entire crowd up on the dance floor all night long!  It was definitely one for the books and I am so happy to have been a part of such a special day for such a wonderful couple.  Thank you for letting me be involved!! XOXO

Enjoy these photos I took before the festivities began!

A beautiful archway created the backdrop

Calla Lilies were a perfect choice and looked amazing

Is this a new bar?  NOPE!  It's just been re-purposed!
Doesn't it look great?  Thanks, John!

M&S's Pink Wedding

Pink & White in June

Hot Pink, or we could call it "Bubble Gum" Pink on a rainy Saturday afternoon.  Pink napkins, pink hydrangea, pink ribbon around the cake, pink candy buffet.  LOVED IT!  Everywhere you turned there were the most vibrant shades of pink.  It turned the day into a bright, cheery day despite the scattered thunderstorms we were experiencing.

M&S arrived in a horse drawn carriage just like in a fairly tale.  Her gown was beautiful with just the right amount of beading and a sweet bow at the waist.  Bridesmaids and groomsman were both decked out in a shade of pink that matched the room perfectly.  (Real men where pink, that's what I always say!)

One of my favorite aspects of the day was the floor decal the brides friend surprised her with.  A large letter "W" with two doves and beneath it, their names.  It was a great surprise and definitely added a unique aspect to this fun wedding. Enjoy these photos I got before the guests arrived!

H&U's Purple Spring Wedding

It's May!  Spring.  Picnic weather.  This is when we really get into "Wedding Season" here at the Community Center.  Yes, we have already had two weddings this year, both in March, but May is such a different, beautiful time of year.  The weather is not too hot, not too cold.  It {hopefully} doesn't rain nearly as much as April.  And the colors!!!  This weekend was a pale purple and white wedding.  They came on Friday to do all of their decorating, so I am really excited with everything.  The simplicity and ease of this event was a perfect pairing for this couple.  H&U are so sweet and easy-going, it's no wonder their budget-friendly wedding had that same laid back, low-fuss feel.

From our first meeting it was clear that these two just wanted to be married.  We met only 5 months ago!  They never stressed or cared much about what would happen with the decorating, the reception, etc.  They were really just looking forward to forever together.  It's so refreshing.  So often these days weddings become about the dress, the reception, the drama.  It's amazing to find a couple so in love that the only thing they are thinking about is the "I Do".

H&U planned a beautiful outdoor ceremony by our gazebo.  We watched the weather for two weeks and they lucked out with a perfect day.  74 degrees, sunny and breezy.   --In the {unlikely}event that it did rain we do have indoor space to accommodate a ceremony.  That did not happen with this event, but it has in the past and it only takes a few minutes to turn an empty room into a perfect place to say "I Do".

This coming weekend we have a break from events so I am throwing a birthday bash for my husband (a NASCAR themed BBQ since we live in redneck country and are going to the races on Sunday...which I cannot believe is something I tell people! haha!)  But the following weekend we are right back at it with a dark purple and antique car themed wedding and a bride who really wants her husband-to-be included in every aspect.
