DIY Seating Chart

In March we held a Beach themed wedding for an amazing couple.  They used creative DIY tricks to personalize their wedding and created a unique seating chart for their guests!  By taking old window panes and painting the wood trim white and using Navy Blue and White window markers they created the cutest seating arrangements I have seen yet.  A different take on the Chalk Board chart, this truly created a "window" to their love.  They even incorporated engagement  photos that showed their fun and caring personalities.

To duplicate this look for your wedding you will need to purchase basic materials:
*White/Blue Window Markers - $6.99 on Amazon.com
*White Sample Size Paint Can - $3.23 at Lowes
*Pick up old window panes at a local antique shop or junk yard
**An alternate to windows could be mirrors left as-is or painted over with a coat of chalk paint, also available at Lowes.

  1. Creating a seating chart is one of the most stressful parts of a wedding planning. In today's information age, technology is in all aspects of our lives. Recently, I came across with this free and all-in-one event planning software that will help you with your wedding planning. Creating seating charts, arranging venue floor plans, making a wedding day time line is just some of the amazing features this tool has to offer.
